‘The Oblivion’ goes to US filmfest

Iran short film ‘The Oblivion’ has been set to go on the silver screen at the 11th edition of Post Alley Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Fatemeh Mohammadi, the flick is to take part at the competition section of the American film event.

‘The Oblivion’ has so far participated in 6 international film festivals all around the world and has succeeded to grab 2 awards.

Produced by Iranian Youth Cinema Society, ‘The Oblivion’ depicts the challenges facing people in their old ages.

 Post Alley Film Festival provides excellent thought-provoking film that entertains and challenges. 

PAFF is not restricted to screening only women’s work but it is a venue for female perspectives and it encourages film submissions focusing on female subject matter. Films at PAFF range from drama to documentary - experimental, archival, narrative, and animation. The festival welcomes submissions from beyond the Evergreen state and the U.S.

The 2018 edition of the event is slated for October 13-15, in Chicago, the US.
